Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well after each.
    Sift soda and flour together 4 times.
    Add flour and sour cream alternately.
    Lastly, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake in greased, floured tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0. Remove from pan as soon as you can handle.
    (This works better if all ingredients are room temperature except sour cream.)
