Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium chopped green pepper
    2 large onions, chopped
    3 celery ribs, chopped
    1 c. long grain rice
    salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    water
    16 oz. can V-8
Preparation
    Saute green pepper, onions, celery and rice in oil until vegetables are limp and rice is clear.
    Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
    Add V-8 juice and water to make 2 1/2 cups. Simmer until rice is tender.
