Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Measure all ingredients.
    Mix sugar, Karo and water.
    Boil until it forms a soft thread when poured from a spoon.
    Add peanuts.
    Boil until peanuts stop popping.
    It will be golden brown.
    Remove from fire and add vanilla and soda.
    Stir and pour quickly on buttered cookie sheet.
