Ginger Creams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. soft shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. ginger
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. water
Preparation
-
Mix shortening, sugar, egg, molasses and 1 teaspoon ginger with water.
Add remaining ingredients.
Chill dough.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes.
Frost.
