Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. frozen peas
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. mayo (mix with 2 Tbsp. sugar)
    8 strips bacon, crumbled
    6 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a very large bowl, layer ingredients in the order listed (from the bottom of the bowl up).
    Cover and refrigerate.
    This can stay for days in the fridge.
    In fact, if it sits for 24 hours before serving, it tastes better.
