All In One Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, diced
    2 c. sliced raw celery
    1 c. V-8 or tomato juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 slices bacon, cut up
    2 c. sliced raw carrots
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. medium noodles, cooked
Preparation
    Fry bacon crisp; remove bacon from pan.
    Add onion to bacon fat; cook slowly until soft and lightly brown.
    Add beef; sear thoroughly.
    Combine vegetables, liquid, cooked noodles, bacon and seasoning with meat.
    Stir and mix ingredients together.
    Pour into 3-quart casserole (greased).
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for two hours, covered.
    Sprinkle top with grated cheese (optional).
