Pecan Pie(County Fair First Prize) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. light Karo
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecans, broken
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    While preheating oven to 350\u00b0, toast 1 1/2 cups of pecans with 3 tablespoons of butter in an empty pie pan, stirring often, until golden brown.
    Watch closely because they burn easily.
    While pecans are browning, in an electric mixer bowl, break eggs.
    Mix slowly while adding Karo, brown sugar and vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Gently mix in pecans and butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until set.
