Holiday Chocolate Almond Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. raisins
    1 1/2 to 3 Tbsp. rum
    14 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
    1 1/4 c. toasted chopped almonds
    3 Tbsp. finely chopped candied lemon or orange peel
Preparation
    Toast chopped almonds on baking sheet in a preheated 300\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring them once or twice for even roasting.
    Put raisins in a medium bowl.
    Spoon rum over raisins. Cover and let stand overnight.
    Line a baking sheet with foil or waxed paper.
    Melt chocolate in a double boiler over low heat or in the microwave.
    Cool slightly, then add to raisin and rum mixture with almonds and candied peel.
    Take small amounts of mixture and with teaspoon, place in mounds on prepared baking sheet.
    Let dry slightly, then refrigerate until firm.
