Banana-Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. bran flakes cereal
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    3 to 4 mashed ripe bananas
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Set aside.
    Measure cereal, milk and mashed bananas into mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
    Let stand 1 to 2 minutes until cereal is softened.
    Add egg and oil.
    Beat well.
    Add dry ingredients to cereal mixture, stirring only until combined.
    Pour batter evenly into 12 greased 2 1/2-inch (or 6 jumbo size) muffin pan cups. Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 about 25 minutes or until muffins are golden brown.
