Peach Julep - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can peaches or 2 c. fresh pureed peaches plus 3 Tbsp. sugar
    6 sprigs fresh mint
    3 Tbsp. lime juice
    1/4 tsp. grated lime rind
    1/4 tsp. grated orange rind
    1/3 c. orange juice
    1 qt. chilled ginger ale
Preparation
    If using canned peaches, drain and puree them in saucepan. If fresh peaches, peel, puree and add sugar to them in saucepan. Add 3 mint sprigs and stir until mint is thoroughly bruised. Cool.
    Remove mint and add the juices and grated bits of rind; chill.
    Just before serving, add ginger ale and garnish with remaining mint sprigs.
