Midwest Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    10 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. cream-style corn
Preparation
    Bring to a boil 2 cups salted water; add the vegetables and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Make a cream sauce of margarine, flour and milk.
    Add cheese to sauce.
    Add the 2 cups of creamed corn and vegetables including the broth.
    Heat but do not boil.
