Crustless Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2/3 c. granulated sugar
    3 eggs - beat into cheese mixture
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. cherry pie filling (save for topping)
    1/2 pint (1 c.) sour cream
    3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients and pour into buttered 9-inch glass pie pan.
    Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove and cool 15 minutes. The cake will collapse slightly in the center forming a small \"well\".
    Pour the sour cream mixture into the \"well\" in the cake. Return to oven for 5 minutes to set the sour cream mixture.
    Cool and add cherry pie filling to top.
