Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw, shelled peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix peanuts,
    sugar
    and syrup in iron skillet and cook until light
    brown
    in
    color.
    Peanuts
    will
    begin
    to\tpop. Remove from fire
    and add 1 teaspoon soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir quickly and pour on buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Break into small pieces when cool.
