Ingredients

4 1/2 lb. ripe tomatoes
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. broken cinnamon
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Scald and peel tomatoes, then quarter them.
Place in pan and add sugar, vinegar and spices. Cook slowly until thickened and put in jars.
