Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. Spanish peanuts (canned)
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine peanuts, sugar and corn syrup in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish; microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Add butter and vanilla; blend well.
    Microwave again for 4 more minutes.
    Stir and microwave an additional 2 minutes.
    Peanuts should be light brown in color and syrup very hot.
    Slowly add baking soda; stir gently until light and foamy.
    Pour entire mixture into a lightly greased pizza pan.
    Let cool for 30 minutes and serve.
