Venison Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) venison roast
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    butter
    1/2 c. dry red wine
Preparation
    Lay roast on aluminum foil.
    Sprinkle with soup mix and dot with butter.
    Wrap tightly in foil.
    Bake 3 hours in a 300\u00b0 oven or until meat is tender.
    Remove roast to hot platter.
    Rinse foil with remaining 1/4 cup of wine to pick up juices and pour over meat.
    Serve immediately with buttered noodles as a side dish.
