Barbecued Hamburger - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 1/4 tsp. salt (garlic if preferred)
3/4 c. oatmeal
3 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. milk
pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 c. catsup
6 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Mix the first 6 ingredients together in order given.
When milk is absorbed, wet tips of fingers and shape into balls. Brown on both sides in about 5 tablespoons hot fat and cook slowly 10 minutes.
Mix remaining ingredients.
Add to meat in skillet and cook slowly for 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
