Manicotti - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. manicotti noodles
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, defrosted, squeezed dry and chopped
1 lb. ground round or chuck
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crumbled
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
3 c. tomato sauce for pasta (made from mix or can)
Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation

Cook noodles following label directions; lift with slotted spoon.
Place in bowl of cold water until ready to use.
