Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. home canned tomatoes with liquid
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. water
    10 crackers
    5 slices bread (old)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In saucepan,
    mix
    all
    ingredients except crackers and bread. Bring to a
    boil,
    add crackers and bread.
    In a Pyrex dish, greased or
    sprayed
    with
    Pam, pour all ingredients and bake in a 400\u00b0 oven
    for
    30 minutes;
    reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes or until set.
