Pecan Delight Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites at room temperature
    1 c. sugar
    1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. coarsely broken soda crackers
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 to 2 c. whipped cream
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Whip egg whites on medium speed until soft peaks form. Continue whipping on medium speed while gradually adding sugar and baking powder. Continue to whip until very stiff peaks form and all sugar is dissolved.
