Savory Crescent Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento (optional)
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
    margarine, melted
    cracker or bread crumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In bowl, blend the cream cheese and 2 tablespoons melted margarine.
    Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk and pimento.
    Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.
    Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto each rectangle.
    Pull 4 corners of dough to top center of chicken mixture; twist slightly and pinch around edges to seal.
    Brush tops with melted margarine; dip in cracker or bread crumbs.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
