Freezer Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    4 medium onions
    3 small cloves garlic
    1 peck ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut in chunks
    1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. chopped parsley
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    4 tsp. oregano
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    In a large pot over medium heat in hot salad oil, cook onions and garlic about 10 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer for about 2 hours. Discard bay leaves.
    Ladle into freezer containers.
    Refrigerate until chilled.
    Freeze.
