Melon In Rum-Lime Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cantaloupe
    1 small honeydew melon
    1/8 watermelon
    1 c. fresh blueberries
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. grated lime rind
    6 Tbsp. lime juice
    1/2 c. light rum
Preparation
    Cut cantaloupe and honeydew melons in half and remove seeds. With scoop, form balls with all 3 melons working around the seeds in watermelon.
    Put melon balls and blueberries in bowl and chill. In small saucepan, mix sugar and water.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add lime rind and let cool at room temperature.
    Stir in lime juice and rum.
    Pour over melon balls and berries.
    Chill, covered, for several hours.
