Brickle Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. almond brickle pieces (Heath Bits 'O Brickle)
    1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan, cook and stir margarine or butter and unsweetened chocolate over low heat until melted.
    Remove from heat; stir in sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat lightly with a wooden spoon just until combined.
    Don't overbeat or brownies will rise too high, then fall.
    Stir in flour.
    Spread batter in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
