Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 or 2 oz. red food coloring
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs.
Make a paste of cocoa and coloring.
Add flour, milk and vanilla.
Beat until smooth, then add vinegar and nuts.
