Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs
vanilla flavor/other
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Mix well the first 4 ingredients.
Sift together flour, salt and soda.
Mix with first mixture.
Place batter in greased pan. Dampen hand with water.
Press batter to all parts of pan.
Cook at 350\u00b0.
Turn out and cut into squares while hot.
