Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 envelope (1/4 c.) dry onion soup mix
    3/4 c. water
    1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
    1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. sliced green olives
    4 oz. (1 c.) sharp natural Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn chips
Preparation
    Brown beef in skillet.
    Sprinkle soup mix over meat and stir in water.
    Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
    In salad bowl, combine lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, olives and cheese; toss.
    Place lettuce mixture on individual salad plates.
    Spoon on meat and top with corn chips.
    Serves 6.
