Fruited Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. apple juice
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. apples, peeled and diced
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/4 c. onions, thinly sliced
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine uncooked rice with chicken broth and apple juice; bring to a boil.
    Cover, reduce heat and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, until all liquid is absorbed.
    In a large skillet over medium heat, melt margarine.
    Add apples; saute for 3 minutes.
    Stir in raisins and onions; saute 3 more minutes.
    Add rice to skillet and toss.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
