Apricot Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c. coconut
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) jar apricot preserves
Preparation

In large bowl, cream margarine and sugar; add egg.
Mix well. Combine flour and baking powder.
Gradually add to butter mixture. Add coconut, walnuts and vanilla; mix well.
Press 2 thirds of dough in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Spread with preserves. Crumble rest of dough on top.
Bake until brown at 350\u00b0, for 30 minutes.
