Golden Mushroom Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Bisquick
1 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
2 Tbsp. sliced green onion
1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1 beaten egg yolk
1/4 c. sour cream
1 egg white
cooking oil (for deep frying)
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine Bisquick mix, mushrooms, onion, pimento, salt and celery seed.
Mix together egg yolk and sour cream; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Beat egg white until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold beaten egg white into mushroom mixture.
In heavy saucepan or electric deep fat fryer, heat oil to 375\u00b0.
Drop batter by tablespoons into hot oil.
Fry about 2 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.
Transfer to rack to drain.
