Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. lean ground beef
    3/4 c. finely chopped, peeled onion
    1/2 tsp. minced, peeled garlic
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    8 oz. part skim Mozzarella cheese, grated or chopped
    1 lb. small curd cottage cheese
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and thoroughly drained
    4 oz. lasagna noodles (6 noodles, cooked according to pkg. directions and drained)
Preparation
    In a large skillet, brown meat over moderate heat, stirring with a spoon to break up.
    Using a slotted spoon, remove meat to a bowl or plate.
    Pour off all but 1 teaspoon fat from the skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened.
