Portuguese Biscuits(Hard Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla or anise
    1 stick margarine
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and knead until dough is easy to handle.
    Break off pieces of dough and make a rope about 6-inches in length and about 3/8th of an inch thick.
    Form a ring bringing the ends together.
    Place rings on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
    Cool and store in a tin or other container with a tight lid.
    May be sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, etc.
