Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 stick oleo
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. buttermilk
1/8 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation

Cream together sugar and oleo.
Mix together remaining ingredients, except pie shell, and add to oleo-sugar mixture. Pour into pie shell.
Bake for 12 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Turn down to 350\u00b0 for rest of the hour.
