City Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. veal, pork or roast beef, cubed
    2/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. milk
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 Tbsp. soup base
Preparation
    Put meat on sticks.
    In one bowl, combine salt, bread crumbs and pepper.
    In another bowl, combine egg and milk.
    Mix in egg and milk, then salt-bread crumbs-pepper mixture.
    Brown meat slowly in shortening; put in baking pan.
    Dissolve bouillon and water, then pour over meat.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Remove cover and cook 15 minutes.
    Turn meat; cook another 15 minutes.
