Cream Of Carrot Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
6 peeled carrots, sliced thin
1 or 2 stalks celery, sliced thin
1/2 tsp. basil
2 Tbsp. parsley
salt and pepper to taste
5 c. chicken stock
1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Heat butter in a large saucepan; add onion.
Cover and cook 5 minutes over low heat.
Add carrots, celery, basil, parsley and seasonings.
Mix and cook 6 minutes over medium heat.
Add stock and flour.
Bring to boil; reduce heat to low and cook 20 minutes. Process in food processor or blender.
