Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    3 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix first amount of sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt. Gradually add hot water, stirring constantly.
    Cook until thick. Add egg yolks, butter, lemon juice and rind.
    Mix well.
    Pour into pastry.
