Fudge Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 sq. Baker's bitter chocolate
    1 c. sugar
    2 well beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix and melt in double boiler Crisco and bitter chocolate. Take off stove and add sugar, eggs, flour, salt and vanilla. Beat together well.
    Grease 8 1/2 x 11-inch pan or a little larger and flour.
    Spread mixture in pan.
    It will just cover.
    Press chopped nuts on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
