German Chocolate Snackin' Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. biscuit baking mix
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (7 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut (2 1/3 c.)
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
In a medium saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate with margarine.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1/2 cup milk, eggs, biscuit mix and vanilla.
Spread evenly into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
In a medium bowl, combine remaining milk and coconut; spoon in small amounts over chocolate mixture.
Sprinkle nuts on top; press
down firmly.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool thoroughly. Cut into bars.
Store, loosely covered, at room temperature. Makes 36 bars.
