Lemon Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. melted butter
3 egg yolks, beaten
3 egg whites, beaten very stiff
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Combine and mix sugar, flour and salt.
Add buttermilk, yolks, melted butter and vanilla and blend.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, gently but thoroughly.
Pour into a raw pie shell.
Bake until knife inserted comes out clean.
Cool; serve with lemon flavored whipped cream.
