Chicken Tetrazzini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 cooked chicken breasts, chopped into chunks or pieces
    1 medium onion, diced
    3 to 4 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    1 pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 box linguini
    1 small jar pimentos
    1/2 to 3/4 c. cooking sherry or wine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 stick butter (a little more, depending on onion size)
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
Preparation
    In a separate pan, cook linguini, accordingly and drain.
