Creamy Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1 c. heavy cream
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. cottage cheese
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving the juice in a small pan.
    Set pineapple aside.
    Add water to juice to make 1 1/3 cups.
    Bring to a boil and pour over gelatin in a bowl; stir thoroughly.
    Cool until slightly thickened.
    Whip cream and gradually beat in sugar. Stir in pineapple and cottage cheese.
    Blend well.
    Chill in 1 1/2-quart bowl for 3 hours or overnight.
