Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 medium sized chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper seasoning
    green peppers
    1 qt. sweetened tomatoes or tomato juice
Preparation
    Combine rice and onion in ground beef with salt and pepper seasoning.
    After soaking green peppers in salted water at least 1/2 hour, stuff with meat mixture and put in tomatoes or tomato juice to cook slowly for 2 or more hours, either on top of the stove or in the oven.
