Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. real butter, softened (2 sticks)
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar. Add in flour. Put in 9-inch cake pan. Prick with fork all over. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
