Pecan Logs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 lb. caramels
    2 1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation
    Combine marshmallow cream, sugar and the flavoring.
    Gradually knead in the last of the sugar. Shape into 8 rolls 1-inch in diameter.
    Wrap in plastic and put in freezer until candy is very hard.
    Melt caramels in double boiler.
    Keep warm.
    Dip log rolls into caramel.
    Roll in chopped nuts and press them into caramel with your hands.
