Homemade Bean Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dry beans
1 onion
2 potatoes
water to cover
2 carrots
2 slices pork steak
Preparation

Sort and soak the beans overnight.
Add the pork steak, chopped onion, sliced carrots and cubed potatoes.
Cook until beans are done.
Add more water, if necessary, to keep covered. Approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Serve with cornbread.
