Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large angel food cake
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 large can cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Soften cream cheese, cream with milk, blend in sugar and fold in Cool Whip.
    Halve the cake and tear into small bits, layer in pan or oblong casserole dish.
    Spread 1/2 of cream mixture over cake.
    Make another layer of cake tidbits and cover with remainder of cream mixture.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Before serving spread with cherry pie filling.
    Other pie fillings can be used.
