Biscuits Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 Tbsp. sour cream
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Stir together the flour, salt, baking powder, cream of tartar and sugar.
    Cut in the Crisco until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
    Add the sour cream and mix a little, then add the milk all at once, stirring until the dough forms a ball.
    Roll out on floured surface and knead lightly just until dough holds together nicely.
    Roll out to about 3/4 inches thick and cut with floured cutter.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Let rise while oven heats to 400\u00b0.
    Bake until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Makes about 1 dozen biscuits.
    Serve with Honey Butter or Strawberry Butter.
