Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium green peppers
    1/2 c. quick rice (soak 30 to 40 minutes)
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/3 c. water, milk or tomato sauce
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    8 oz. can tomato sauce

Preparation
    Cut pepper in half lengthwise.
    Place pepper in pan.
    In a medium size bowl, crumble beef.
    Add rice, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic, water, egg and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
    Add remaining tomato sauce over pepper and cook at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
