Baked Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
4 slices bread
6 to 8 slices cheese (American, Velveeta, etc.)
Preparation

Put half of the tomatoes in greased baking dish.
Sprinkle with half the salt, pepper and sugar.
Dot with half the butter. Top with half the cheese and half the bread, broken in pieces. Finish with remaining ingredients in the same order.
Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
