Mushroom Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. dried lima beans
    4 Tbsp. instant beef flavor bouillon granules
    1 c. medium size barley
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    3 carrots, sliced
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Soak lima beans according to package directions. Drain, reserving liquid. Add enough water to measure 12 cups liquid.
    In a large saucepan, combine beef flavor granules, barley, lima beans and liquid. Cover and bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour.
